Mega, LOL… I figured you were just busting a little balls... it's cool. I'm not some crazy American gun nut who has 300 guns laying around. I have 4 pistols, an AR, and 2 shotguns, and really have no need for anything else. Every one of them has a purpose, and thats it. Shit can get sketchy over here in the blink of an eye, and I'll be damned if I let something happen to my wife and daughter while I'm breathing. Poindexter or not, it's not the size of your EDC, but how you use it...
Doug, I find it about the same on either belt... wearing 634S button fly, I find it easier to rock the IHB due to ease of access when making a standup headcall... but you're right, the Ares does give more rigidity

If you want more stopping power, why go with a 380 with the 42?
something tuesday can get comfortable with & then keep or resell easily if she decides she wants something with a bit more bang

G23 here, so, similar gun. I do not edc it at this time though. I installed a lighter trigger and a grip but the thing really needs a mag release extender.

I tried REALLY hard to like 40SW and just couldn't get into it. Even got a brand new slide assembly and barrel and changed out my Sig P226

Has she done much shooting thus far?
for the last 13 or so years about once a year she fires every a 9mm, a shotgun & an M16. she hates all of them & just needs something to build her confidence & work on her basics.

Cool that you still have the old ass iPod nano. Keep it forever- that was one of the better versions, I thought.
