^My brother's drinking that right now… Poor sap... I'm enjoying a nice geuze... Honestly the best beer I've ever had under 8%... My brother descibed the smell as a mix of "weed and vomit"...  😉

Make sure you avoid pouring the residue into the glass. Always pour your glass whilst holding your bottle into the light… I drank the last couple of centiliters with the residue this time instead of pouring it into the sink: anyone who says it can't change the taste of the beer is a nutter...

I went looking specifically for stuff from The Bruery; their Tart Of Darkness is exceptional.  I'm really looking forward to drinking all of them.

Now it all just has survive the not so tender care of Southwest's baggage handlers.

Not particularly original, but you know…...This batch may have been brewed by emceeQ

Maybe not original, but still a fantastic beer.  Was craving some the other night actually….

This beer's rating went up 35 points since emceeQ left the brewery - coincidence?..

Drinking Pannepot whilst eating roast pork feels like both honouring and dishonouring Seul at the same time  :-\

Have been trying to branch out and try more IPA thinking maybe I hadn't found the right one, no luck. I just don't like that style of beer. I like double ales like the Bastards from Stones and Founders, but something about the IPA just turns me off. I have a Black IPA I am going to try, hoping a dry hop version may fit me better, but I'm about ready to call it on this style.

                                  Don't like doubles, don't like IPAs… I mean I can enjoy a good IPA, but I prefer something else…

I gave it a good try 😞 Correction, the Founders is a Scotch Ale, not a double, maybe why I prefer it to the Stones. At least you can drink one E, half way I have to put them down.

I think IPAs are a bit of an acquired taste. After living in California for a few years my hop tolerance increased tenfold. Now I can't get enough of them. Tangy, citrusy hops… earthy, spicy hops... count me in. I must admit that some double IPAs are a bit overkill though.
