The jacket is a modified Aero Dustbowl. Leather jackets are my first true love, followed by boots

Me thinks that people believe that ALL old engineer boots had flat toe, but they had soft "bump" toe that then during the use collapsed, creating "flat toe" which all who wear engineers because of the hype crave for.

I might be wrong though….

It's just more comfortable (for me anyway)!

I need that extra room. My toes need space to move up and down. I don't have the bump toe last, just the regular Wesco last for the Boss boots and for me it's the perfect amount of room.

Injunjack, some people like the look of a vintage flattened toe, why do you care what someone else thinks looks good? Wear what you like and other people will wear what they like.  And I'm pretty sure you're wrong about all vintage boots being bump toes that flatten. Look at ads for engineener boots from the 30's, the toes aren't totally flattened but they already have a low profile.

Interesting how the wait times for Wesco never waivers much - seems like it flexes with the seasons for White's.  In any case, they will be well worth the wait.  Fortunately don't have to walk around barefoot  :)…

These just popped up on the Wesco Facebook site - I really like 'em.  Packer with MP last (I think) - not sure what leathers but it is a good look.
