Be careful with the ao. My pair was left in the sunglasses thing in my car for a day and the heat warped them into an off shape

That would burn my ass. Not Rayban, not sure what they are, brass frame, glass lens, Bakelite crossbar and nose pieces

Thanks, going on what a couple old timers have told me about them. It's certainly a early version of plastic and I have seen sunglasses almost identical made completely out of Bakelite. Given the glass lenses and brass frames it seems right that any plastic on them would be so. Best part, I picked these up at a rummage sale

Just picked up these for ten bucks in perfect condition! Polarized and hand made in Italy.
