    Thanks for the sympathy…  They seem to have found a good home.

    I agree by the way on the 2045 over 110.

    @Scottystyles:

    Bummed Tod!! If They were a 9 and 2045 or 2040 last even, I'd be all over those like dog on heat!! Good luck with the sale mate. Someone would be stoked!!

    Also, there are some guys on the Styleforum's Viberg thread looking to get numbers for an MTO Brown wax flesh, commando sole, no toe cap, heal pull tab service boot. Absolutely freakin killer boots (IMO). But I have a pair very similar. They are leaning toward 2045 last over 110. Personally I think the 110 is a tad sloppy as it's wider heal to toe.. Anyway, anyone wanting a peep here y'all go

      Yeah mate, better fit. Well… For me anyway. But I suspect that was prob the wearing issues you had with those HH beauties. Purely a last issue.

        No doubt.  It's a real shame, just as I finally figure out my correct Viberg size and last, they stop taking MTOs…

            Does anyone have any info on the copper task suede leather? Is it actually rough out? Is it listed in the Horween tannage list? Thanks.

              Suede is split skin, so it's thinner than regular rough out

                  I did wonder because it says copper task suede on the box. I've seen it called copper task rough out elsewhere.

                  The inside is smooth so I guess it is inside out (rough out) leather.

                    On what box? Post a picture of the boot in question. I've handled the copper task roughout, and it's very nice. I've never heard of a suede version.

                      It says suede on the Smokejumper boxes we sell.  But it is rough out…..

                        Thanks Giles, that's what I thought. I went with a size 9. The 110 last is perfect for me.

                          These are my MTOs about one month in. Copper Task RO, size 3.5 on their 9220 last. They're pretty great–shame that the MTO program was cancelled.

                            Size 3.5?  Is that just a typo.  Just curious as they look really proportionate if so.

                              Yeah, size 3.5–I wear a women's 5.5. Viberg cut the pattern by hand for these, and they did a spectacular job.

                                        ^nerkg - they do, but I think you're responsible for getting past the whacky canadian mail system to get them up there.
