Went to Port Dickson Malaysia end of 2013 and decided to sea wash my Mega Beatle Buster from Iron Heart. Its part of the Heavyweight Denim Competition 2 (HWDC2). The MBB has been 8 months of wear but effectively 6 months of wear. The other 2 months in total was rotated between Momotaro and Nudie.

This is the second sea wash. The first time was in November on the afternoon, this was in the morning.

PS:Lazy and slow edits. Need to really upgrade my MBP Ram..4 gb is just to slow now. Music credits to Radiohead, weird fishes indeed. Don't forget 720P.

Me too LN but not Gtb and slim tapered.fakes have resurfaced in malaysia sporadically like a fungus. Even heard samura,IH and flathead fakes are on the way.

Even as a newbie those were painful to look at. As others said, you can't fake the weight, stiffness, or quality, so it becomes obvious.

seul:agreed.but the thing is that it damages the brand strongly.momotaro fake just came into malaysia end last year because of the raw denim trend is picking up and many local stores have popped up carrying heavyweight brands like momo,IH,samurai. So some wise ass capitalized on this hype and trend. and the thing that got my nerve is that they sell it for half the price of the original.come on we all know that the actual price is only 1/10 of the original price when it comes out of the factory in china.

I'll try to grab a couple selfies tomorrow.

I got some remnants of powder on Wends at Bridger Bowl and a few clean lines at Lost Trail on Thursday but there is a super big high pressure system sitting over the entire west at the moment so I'll be lucky to see snow before I leave.  Nothing but groomers for the next week.

Oh well, the skiing is still great and this truly is beautiful country (although extremely desolate)

Little repair on the right cuff using canvas tent repair waxed thread. Seemed tough enough.

Here's my 6th month update (I think it's 6 months - didn't wear them over the summer). 5 washes. Getting their 6th this weekend - so much salt and mud on the legs.

Top block:

Knee wear (I have a child) and maybe some slight stacks. Could be dirt.
