I just washed mine, a gentle hand wash in cool water. They shrank noticeably (sorry, didn't think to take pre-wash  measurements since I wasn't expecting any shrinkage) and they are now stiff as hell. These jeans are an ASSHOLE, but I will break them, and they will be beautiful when I'm done.

They're a touch darker in real life, but not much. I was dealing with some tricky lighting. Annoyingly, I've had to wash these four times already even though they've had less than 70 wears, because I keep getting them dirty and/or puking on them.

Damn right they are. Must be the ridiculous amount of indigo. But eventually they will be amazing. It might take me a few more years to get there, but it will be worth it in the end I think.

Somehow I blew out the front of my favorite jeans. Do you guys think this will be a tough thing to fix? Or can a regular tailor get a needle through this fabric?

actually this is an easy diy thing imo…go and grad a needle and some poly thread and start sewing.
shouldn't take longer than 5min.

Keep working on those- they are looking incredible so far!  That 23 oz fades really uniquely- seems like it goes from deep indigo straight to white!  Really cool.  I so wish I hadn't missed out on the 23 oz 634S collab.

There's more electric blue in them than that picture shows, for some reason it takes sunlight to bring it out. I wish I could wear jeans more often, they look good now but I can tell they will be amazing after another full year of wear. At this rate, that should only take me four more years to accomplish.

So, I bit the bullet and ordered the last size 29 from Self Edge the other day. I was really excited when I checked tracking and found that they were delivered today, two days ahead of the original expected delivery date.

Naturally, I get home from work and open the box to try these babies on ASAP. Imagine my disappointment when I find this:

I've emailed Self Edge, but this was the last 29 in the online store and I was really hyped about this particular pair. Hopefully, we can come up with an acceptable resolution.
