Remember when you could swap/ sell cds in , maybe get $4 for one . Get rid of ten
you hate and buy two new ones . Great record shop called Zulu Records in Vancouver ….Now no one buys cds....far as I know,.

Here in Japan ( well this corner of it , at the bottom ) I can buy a new house for under $200 K .
However houses here go down in value as they age , so you won't make a profit selling later. -

d666 and natehate…. i did the same thing a few years ago. i sold my entire music collection (save a couple gems and sentimental pieces) to armageddon shop. put a down payment on a house with it. i felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders when all that stuff was gone. although there were records that i will never be able to get again i realized that i didn't listen to any of them anymore. they just sat there collecting dust.

Just thinking back to make 40 grand I must have dumped 120

i'm honestly glad that the stuff is being enjoyed by someone else. any music that i loved i still have in some format, but the hoarding mentality of collecting records just got to be too much for me.
