    Great ! This is a serious investment - but if you handle it right it will pay off. I´m the first to take a couple of lessons. Having ur own chainstitching /hemming service is like the grease that makes the machine run smoothly. Good luck - now I really cross my fingers*

      Great idea.  I may charge extra for people to come and do their own - be part of the adventure 😉 😉 ;D…G

            that would def be a cool thing to learn, maybe a good thread to start G, teach us on what you learn.  Maybe with pics even a couple of youtube videos.  I'd tune in fur sure!

                    Look at what I just bought, it came out of the Levi's factory in North Carolina a few years ago:

                                      Motors are cheapish- I seem to recall them going for about $150 in a parts supply catalog that's buried somewhere in my office.  I'm afraid of the shipping charges (and what my wife would do to me if I brought home a second antique sewing machine).

                                          I'm just arranging air freight.  Not sure how long till it is here.  I guess about 4 weeks.  I then need to hook up a small compressor (to autofold the hem), then learn how to use it.  G
