That colour is amazing Max Power - congratulations, and thanks for the great pictures too.

In my opinion, the fit in the top block looks very good in your photos, so I hope these work out for you and we get to see the evolution in future.

Thanks guys. I think I can risk to stretch them out, even if I have a gigantic muffin top when I sit down. The denim should allow some stretch and the rest is pretty much on spot. That's why I prefer raw denim -you know exactly, wether the jeans will fit after soaking and stretching (but I know I'm pretty alone with that sentiment). Will try to take better pictures today.

Great looking jeans there. I'm really digging the fabric and the cut looks good on you.

              Great pix and fit MaxP

Fit of my pair when I received them mid Nov, they shape very quickly when worn. Comfy nice fabric, like the cut too, will put some wear in them over wintertime.

              Size 30

              Cheers,
              David

Great fit! Although you have, like me, a bootcut-like look. I assume this will go away with time. Please tell me how if you get some stretch, as I need to loose some bellyweight to make my pair work.

Chris washed his and that took care of it.

I also have a build close to Chris so I'm hoping they'll fit nicely. Will let you know by the end of year…

I also have a pair, very nice fabric. Does anyone else have trouble keeping the fly buttoned up? Those slanted buttonholes keep popping open on mine…

Any more pics or impressions guys?  I am really liking these, though the thighs are borderline too small.  Have any of you worn them much.  Thoughts?

I like them. I am usually a 34, and went for these 36 (NoKipple picked out a "smaller" 36 for me), because I don't really like heavyweight denim that is also tight anywhere. After a few weeks of wear, I think a 34 might have worked too, hard to say–I'm happy with the 36. Wearing them most days this winter, and if I can find my camera I'll take a pic. They are very comfortable early on, a pleasure to wear, feel great. Yes, the buttonholes are a bit loose, but then again my thumbs are thankful.

I went with 34 (my normal size) and am struggeling with the thighs…if you're interested in a swap, feel free to PM me.

Might be worth a thought. I'll PM you. Thing is, when I sit, the thighs seems perfect. Don't want them any tighter. When I stand and am moving around, it's a little looser fit, workmanlike, a bit extra in the seat, etc., little wider silhouette (as the term goes). The only things I have this heavy are IH634S-B (34W), which I have a lot of wear on and feel, fit great. Can move, work, sit, and they still look good as just jeans, my IH-461S, which are a whole different fit/cut and not really comparable (but just as great as the 634S-B), and the SteelFeather 210z, which is slim, tight in thighs, and made me realize I do not want anything heavyweight that's tight in thighs again, although I like them and wear them and understand over time they will soften and feel fine, one (once) is enough…The Elhaus though is such a different weave, so different altogether than anything else I've worn, it's like it's own category (in a way, I think the IH 21oz sanforized, no matter what the cut, is like nothing else as well).

                                  Maybe 25 days wear.
Indoor pics, color off, just for fit.
3 Outdoor close-ups are true to color: first in shade, next shade and sun, last direct sun.

I'm more intrigued with each new set of pics, it's the whole 'handwoven' thing that gets me - I mean they look quite unique, and a different texture to other denims that I've seen (although I'll freely admit that I haven't sampled much outside of IH/TW), but I just imagine they would feel like a heavy, soft cloth as a result of the way they've been made?
Curiosity may get the better of me and then I'll just have to buy a pair 😉

Heavy and soft - yes. And the colour is something else as well… Very nice and complex... A shame these didn't work for me otherwise I'd 've worn the fuck out of 'm...

Yes, they feel very soft and thick.  Sort of like super heavyweight sweatpants, but not really.  Seriously unique denim.

I have been coveting these. No more big purchases for awhile though, I'm afraid.
