Well, this is a first. I'm up at 0300 to leave the house at 0445 to take a two hour drive and be ready to go at 0700 to evaluate a culinary certification. My brain is so confused right now. It senses there's coffee, but it feels like night time.

Sounds like a dream, take your heavyweight clothes off and do a lap of the block, if nobody flinches you're either dreaming or have moved to Amsterdam. Tough wake up time!

@Seul, I have always struggle to remember street names, Can't even tell you the name of streets 1 block from where I live, they just refuse to stick. I describe places by land markers or use Google Maps ::). No problems knowing my 33 from 62, 72, 86 etc. Added I have network addresses stuck from every network I've ever worked on for the past 15 years (this is extremely unusual). Mind you, I also know Pi to 50+ digits…

That is simply how we find things in England.

The Yank I just picked up from the airport phoned me from Immigration to tell me where he was. He had purchased a £5 British Sim Card from eBay before he arrived.  That's class….

My preconceived image of England came largely from Benny Hill, men dressed as women and police with funny hats and sticks

Largely, I was correct, except I really wanted to see a TARDIS

I met a young lady from England awhile back, and she finally lost her shit when she figured out I thought everything on BBC was the news

I can't believe that she didn't simply point out that the NYPD are headed by Magnum PI (with the P standing for pensioner), ably assisted by his son from New Kids on The Block  😉

It should be noted that the NYPD also uses an Asbergian Brit to solve its crimes.  A bit sad, when you think about it; Magnum used to be so good at solving crimes on his own.

I don't know if someone has bought me some tea from a shop in Winchester, or if my bank account has been defrauded.

I received an email thanking me for my order from a legit business (I called them), who have a legit order in my name to be delivered to my address, but I haven't ordered it.

My bank say that I have no payments pending from any of my accounts so they consider my accounts to be secure, nothing gone or pending from paypal either.

                                            Strange…..
