With most shirts, when they are tight or even stretchy they pull on the buttons and i hate that look. Do you feel that this will do the same? I prefer a 25" chest but can do 24.8 in most. The biggest one IH has is 24.6. I know, i know its only .2" but it makes a dif with the heavier shit

I think it would at least at first. It's not as loose as an IHSW, it's a bit denser, I imagine a tighter weave. Here, I've put it on over a sweat to simulate a tight chest. It's stubborn enough to where the button stretches aren't that bad.

        Think it, be it.

Been reading that they are super nice, especially once you see it in person. Double the weight of the heavy flannels?? Thats serious. Chest meas is an issue for me or id b getting one for sure for fuck sakes

Just tried a XXXL on at SELA, and it is seriously nice. I can almost guarantee it will fit you, too. I own both 72s in a XXXL, and they fit great. The XXXL 64 was a size too big. Had to have SELA ship a XXL down to me from SF. It's in the 50's* F here and I'm freezing my ass off; so this shot to the top of my list. If I lived in Canada, this would be a no-brainer.

Man this is getting difficult now. Urb said a 3x fit him perfect in the chest but long elsewhere. I know for fact that i need a size up from him. But a couple others are certain that it will fit me. Sean do u have or have tried on the 87? I had it and it was tighter then i like. Both 72's i have are about as small as i can go without looking silly

Yet, IHUK's measurements have the XXXL 64 at 24.3in chest. I just measured my brand new XXXL red 72 and it has a 24.5in chest which is comfortable on me. So, you could assume, chest wise they are pretty much the same depending on who measured them. You're talking about a .2-.3in possible difference. I say go for it. If it doesn't fit you can just send it to me as a Christmas present.

Yeah, I own the 87 in a XXXL, and the fit is excellent on that, as well.  I also think that sometimes there are slight variations in measurements even in the same size.  It's possible urb tried on a smaller XXXL 64, and I tried on a larger one.  Also, urb picked up a XXXL 72, and found the fit perfect, so maybe you are closer in sizing than you think (it's sick that we know this about our recent purchases, haha).  I tried on the XXXL 64 with a IH henley on, too, and it was definitely too big.  In my opinion, a size larger than the 87, and even larger than the 72.  You could always call Casey @ SELA and have him ship that larger XXXL to you.  I think it was every bit a 25" chest.  You could even ask Casey to measure for you.  If it doesn't work (which I doubt), then you know you will use the store credit, at some point.

Just measured my 72s, and my 87:

                        72rd: 24.8"
                        72grn: 24.8"
                        87: 24.5"

I truly believe the 64 I tried on was bigger than all three.  May have been isolated, but there's my two cents.

Did you have IHUK measure the last XXXL they have? Maybe it will miraculously have a 25in chest. It's def possible. All I know is that the single XXXL SENY got was tight in the chest on me. It was doable but it def fit smaller than my 72.

64 is definitely bigger than my 72 and my 87. Rocky don't miss this shirt you will regret it. I wish my 64 was a xxl instead of a xxxl

Wearing this for the first time today, and am very impressed.  Knew it would be good, but it's difficult to articulate how warm and comfortable the shirt is.  Excited that H decided to run two additional colors.

I see a trifecta in my future.

I wore my 64 for the first time earlier this week after work to run (a term I use loosely - I was wearing my two-week-old 666XHS, so there was no "running") to grab tacos down the street from my apartment. Feeling the thickness of this shirt, I simply threw it on over a t-shirt and decided to forego any additional layers.

Despite the 20 degree weather, I was plenty warm for the 15 minutes I was outside. Not surprisingly, I was really impressed with the quality and heft of this Iron Heart garment. This was my first foray into the IH shirting game, but in the last few days I've already bought three additional pre-owned shirts from the Buying & Selling forum.

PSB, glad to have you on the forum, and I'm happy you reported.

Yes, the 64 is in a class by itself. As an owner of several heavy flannels, this shirt is seriously overlooked. It's all-time-Iron Heart-great. There is a reason why H is re-running in different colors.

Enjoy your new foray into IH. There are few things better than late-night tacos with superior IH garments, and top shelf booze (which you will find by perusing this forum). All the best to you.

                                          Welcome and congrats, mate.

It's actually pretty unusual that this even exists, but great brands generate great brand loyalty. It's amazing that you can shop for gear AND see how those garments are going to evolve over time and hear first-hand from people who already own it. I'm definitely a fan.
