What's your favorite Beer?

I had a bottle of the St Bernardus Christmas Ale last night just before I went to bed, it comes in at 10% so it is no lightweight brew and it took me a good 40 minutes to go through a bottle. It's dark, smooth and has a very subtle spiced flavour which definitely tells you that it's a Christmas beer, whilst also doing a great job of masking the taste of any alcohol. This was the Christmas beer that I was most looking forward to trying as I enjoyed the St Bernardus Abt 12 so much, and as a drinking experience it did not disappoint.
That was the good side, now here is the bad…
I had one bottle, just the one and I wake up with a hangover !!! This has not happened with ANY of the other strong Belgian beauties I have been enjoying but this one is a quiet and charming assassin who delivers a seasonal headache!! I'm at the same time pleased and terrified that I have another 7 bottles of this to get through over the festive period.
In summary, brilliant beer but it has an aftermath like Scorpions finishing move from Mortal Combat.

Do you know how weak English beer is

eli, tomorrow is going to be the day…where i finally will open that god damn package
Speaking of which… My shipment has arrived, had a text from my sister the other day "Was there something you forgot to tell me?"
Yes, yes there was... So good news: It's in the U.K. The bad news: I don' know when I'll be collecting it. Might have to have a trip to Stoke sometime next week...

Urb, that St Bernardus and the Delirium Noel are two of the best beers I have ever tasted. Now I know what Wizzard meant when they said…..

What do you call the St Bernardus :o
I'm saving the Stille Nacht for Christmas day, but the Berny (as I lovingly call it) is so far the most kick ass beer I have tried, it's a real show stopper.
So good in fact that I'm going to the new discovery beer shop to get a couple of 75cl bottles to cellar until next Christmas.
