Was eying an XL yesterday - then they were gone. Now I got weak and tried my luck with an XXL. Normally I'm an L / XL in shirts.

The price is just too good and except for the shoulders I figure this will fit. Was always a fan of black Type IIIs with side pocket. Please cross your fingers that it fits. Will there be tiny bit of shrinkage?

For what it's worth - I'm a XXXL in this while I'm usually an XXL in shirts.  Even have an XL in the IHM-03.

If you are into layering at all sizing up from your normal works pretty well.  I can wear a heavy flannel or a hoodie underneath and the fit is spot on.

Fold the cuffs back, it is pretty standard thing to do on a Type III

Yes, I tried XXL. But would have chosen XL if there was one left.

Im pretty sure we are similar size from our other buys… such as L in the 86 and XL in the 87.

I ordered and paid for an XL in this jacket a few days ago, but apparently someone checked out just moments before I did, so if someone has an XL they want to get rid of, I'd gladly take it off your hands. I'd post something in the WTB thread, but I don't have enough posts yet.
