Torn between 33 and 34. But eyeing Rafas pair a 33 should stretch to my perfect fit.

What were you reference sizes again? Crucial point for me are the knees and below. The Top block is forgiving and the thighs are doable TTS. But the knees really hurt the first weeks and the jeans are fairly tight on the lower leg. One size down and I would bust the seams there, I fear.

8 inch knees do sound painful indeed. did yours stretch in the knees?

They got softer and I can see I streteched the stitching a bit, but the knees remain my crucial spot.

I was eying these for a long while, held off for some reason. But then when they were out of stock I knew I should have pulled the trigger sooner. Now that they are back in stock and I finally have my hands on them. Wow, doesn't seem to even do it justice. I should have never waited on these. Love the feel, color, weight and I can already tell they will soften up and feel even more amazing. If you were like me and waited or wasn't sure, please do yourself the needed service of getting these! 

I'll eventually take better fit pics but I want to go all out and spend some real time with these babies and do a real photo maybe video shoot.

Finally got my hand on this pair of wonderful jeans.
I am loving it! cant emphasize on how good the denim feels and the quality of it.
I can foresee myself getting a few more pairs of IH in the near future!

And the fitting for the jeans is just perfect! Just lovin it!

how tight is "tight"?…that's the question imo.
there'll be always a bit of stretch with wear, but not sure how much you'd need.
pics would help to maybe even save you some money.

My 555-01 were really tight in calf. I slept in them 2 nights and they stretched out perfect 21oz is your friend.
