I did, and it surprisingly does taste exactly like an IPA. It was actually quite good, but very odd. I have one left so if you can't lay hands on any drop me a PM and I'll put it in the post for you dude  😉

Thanks for the offer :). I'll keep an eye on the shop. I will of course reciprocate with either a Santa Paws or Hoppy Christmas.

Poured a bottle of that into the sink yesterday… Lots of residue, from the start... Immediately noticed something was up... The previous bottles I had were excellent though... Hope you had a good'un, Gav...

Me?.. Bottle shared with me dad...

                        Having a Gouden Carolus 'Classic'…
Very refreshing Belgian, goes down dangerously easy.

The Classic is an excellent introduction to Gouden Carolus… From there it's X-Mas, then Cuvée van de Keizer.

I'll have to get my hands on them.
For some reason the Aussie bottle shops stock no/extremely little christmas beer….

Gouden Carolus Christmas. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't taste good… Maybe some bread and cheese will help...

Try mixing it with Stella Artois, a little cocktail I like to call "Shitty Christmas on the Council Estate".

Man it has this heavy aroma of licorice… Overwhelming, in taste as well... Problem being: I don't like licorice...  :-\

Fuck it - poured it in the sink… Plan B... Kasteel Cuvée du chateau. 11% and it still lacks body. For fuck's SAKE...

Pretty good for a 6% brew.
