Pocketknives/Kitchen Knives/Fixed Blades

Not really. I worked his table at the Vegas show maybe seven years ago. Did some other stuff for him too like order tshirts/hats/merch. Wasn't for very long
He is one of the makers that I just will never own. His stuff is way hyped, over priced and in all honestly I was completely unimpressed with the man when I tried to meet him/talk to him at Blade '11. At Blade shows his booth gets about 5+ people thick/ mobbed so I waited in line for about a half hour to get to talk to the man, I'm up next and he just walks away to talk to someone else. I've had some great experiences with knife makers and will gladly give them my money, but not him.

^ thats disappointing to hear, i have read a lot of great reviews of RH's stuff

I've owned a production Hinderer xm-18 and will say the fit and finish for a production folder is stellar. I was picked in one of his lotteries a couple of years ago and the price was $328. I think that his table price is more than fare for the product you get. The problem is his productions go for at least twice the table price on the secondary market. The secondary prices are not worth it for me. To make it worse, his customs are really outrageous. They consist of a hand ground blade on one of his production frames. We're talking starting at 1500 to upwards of 2500. Agreed, his stuff is highly inflated… buuuut everything he makes sells either on table or secondary

I know nothing about this maker, but I really enjoy his style. It's a marriage of old school slipjoint/lockback knives with a little bit of a modern splash. Anyone familiar?
-
I've seen a few of his makes appear this last year on the scene. His work looks good on paper/photo, but I haven't handled his work personally. Not sure what his price points are, but since he's a newer maker, you might be getting a great value.

They don't have the best prices on knives, but they do sell the toothpick and tweezers at good prices and I always pick up an extra few when I order because I occasionally lose them

I posted this coffee bag micarta gripped Wharncliffe a while back. Sent it to George Thompson, the son of one of Giles' friends, for a sheath to be made and some gimping to be added to the back of the blade.
Very pleased.Next move might be a hot sauce patina.

Very nice Mike, every time I see Danbo I try to get him to trade me one. Not too successful yet. I'd also like to score some regrinds.
