I'm similar and i have them in 36 and they are very very comfy in the top block/thigh. It's 21oz so stretches a lot. 34 will prob work for you because it comes up 35 in the waist.

Actually i am not worry about waist, even 34 inches is OK for me.
But my thigh and knee is little bit bigger than normal.
It is OK for slim straight fit, but I'am worry about skinny fit.
But I think I'll try it in 36.

I love this cut - roomy/comfortable at top, and fitted but not too tight through the legs.  they look equally great stacked or cuffed - and not that this means crap, but it's my wife's favorite of all my jeans. I wont declare a favorite cut, but it's a 3-way tie betw. Beatles, 634 and 555.

Why not go for a 666 cut then VB?
You still get slim, but with a bigger thigh and knee.

Yes, it seems a good idea.

The big difference between 555 and 666 is, 555 has higher rise, roomier top block - and trimmer from the knee down - looking at the measurements it seems like the thigh measurement is similar?

                    True that Bluegrass.
But my 555's feel way slimmer in the thigh than my 666XHS's, both size 33, and the thighs are the same measurement!
It must have something to do with the knee being bigger

yeah, that makes sense… i have the 666S and the thigh measures are virtually the same - but the taper is far less extreme than the 555.  I still find it remarkable that at 6'7" 225 lbs I can wear the 555 and not look like I'm trying to be 20 yrs old again.

I think IH cuts are extremely versatile like that…
Very forgiving with the bigger sizes!
Not that i know from experience, but just looking at the measurements.
I think some brands go to far with 36-38 inch waists, which taper down super intense like a smaller size.
In other words, IH has just got their cuts right for alot of people to enjoy!

Bluegrass, you give me hope. I had a conversation with my (younger) girlfriend a couple of days ago that went something like this:

Me: What style of jeans do you like best on guys? Baggy, straight, slim-cut, skinny?
                          Her: Whatever you're comfortable wearing.
Me: But ideally, if it was up to you, what's your preference compared to the style I'm wearing now? [slim-fit, 7.8" hem]
Her: Well…[diplomatic pause]…a lot of guys are wearing jeans much tighter than those these days.

She seems to like Russell Brand, and I like his recent public opinions about politicians, so perhaps I should wriggle my 43 year old self into a "Super-Duper Slim" cut.

Can anyone help me here? I'm searching for a slimmer cut and am looking at the 555 (01 and 02), the 666S and the Raw Busters. But I don't seem to be able to find anything that will fit me properly. I have a pair of 634S W34 that fit fine. The waist has stretched out to 35 inches but I'd like more taper/slimmer fit from the knee down. The Buster Raws will shrink down to a 12 inch thigh, like the 555-02 and I feel that'll probably be a bit tighter than i'd like. Will either of them offer much stretch in the thigh area? My ACTUAL thigh measures 25 inches (measurement taken from crotch and around). I like the thought of some 18oz really for a change but I don't see how anything will fit me right. The 555-01 will offer me 12.3 which MIGHT be ok. Any thoughts/experiences from other 34/35 inch waisters?

                                            Both are my favorite cuts

666 is a tighter top block and thigh, less tapered from knee down than 555.

555 is roomy in thigh and top block almost like 634 but very tapered from knee down.
