The 666S are also made of 18oz raw denim and have a slightly bigger front rise. Overall they are a slimmer cut however.

Probably discussed elsewhere, but these will be my first IH jeans and I'm not sure about sizing. Does anyone have any measurements a size 31 that have been worn for a few months? I've looked through the thread but couldn't find anything. If they end up measuring about the same as they do pre-soak 31 should be fine, otherwise I have to size up to a 32.

Hi Carl,

I've got a pair of sz 30's. Post soak after 3 months wear they are no where near as loose as they were prior. Due to pre-soak then being unsanforized, they will never stretch right back out. I suggest you size up to 32's, and they will shrink to perfection for you.

Alright, I will order 32 then. Most of my jeans measures 32" (my true waist too) so it makes sense. Cheers.

Thanks mate, agree. There was some apprehension a few pages back about them not making a good office denim due to fast fading.

Hardly the case at all. Solid IH, really subtle evolution :).

I am finding that the 18oz is the hardest to fade. Even the 21oz seems to fade quicker.

My 21 oz are significantly more faded than my Vulcans, and i've probably clocked more days in the Vulcans now (and a lot harder days…)  The 18 oz takes its time, but it's fine by me- I love dark denim, and I'm in no hurry.

Spent about an hour today crawling around on the concrete in the crawl space…  Was impressed that the Iron Heart 18 oz denim has got to be the toughest stuff around.

I'm about to buy another pair for going out. Mine are about 4 -5 months and starting to look dirty. But I don't want to wash for awhile. I love this denim

Yea, the 18 oz denim is killer.  I really like the extra details on the Vulcans too- the leather triangle is perfect!  and I actually use the extra pockets in back all the time for tools.
