Thanks mac, diggin' the Para 2 a lot
Yeah, I'll keep looking for the Case, I know of two local places that
might have it so next weekend I'll check them out.Yeah Doug, we still have gun shows. Costa Mesa fairground has the big one about 4-5 times a year and then
a smaller one in Pasadena that's a combo gun/knife show which is a couple times a year.
If you find yourself ( mac too ) on this end of town when one is coming up let's go. -
I haven't been to a gun or knife show in ages, I really need to do that.
-
I'm seeing a lot more knives at the gun shows now, good deals too. There's a guy who shows up from
Oregon who brings factory seconds from Kershaw, a small nick on the frame or the color wasn't quite right
and you get it at about 60-70% off. Discontinued models as well. Next show is on Nov. 30th, I'm sittin' on
go. -
Dave Curtiss posted a mini F3 with a scratch in the blade for a deep discount…. of course right after I ordered one
-
Bummer!
This guy from Oregon has a ton of knives, got my ZT 0301 from him with a tiny nick on the
frame. Goes for about $272 online, up to $340 in the shops, I got it for $223. Also picked up a discontinued
model, not sure of the model number but it has a tanto blade, retailed for around $200, got it for $75. -
Yeah, I think that's it…Nice knife, very solid. Interested to see what he has at the end of the month, I might
pick up another one of these if he still has them. -
No, it's the ZT 0700. I had to look it up. The 0400 is cool though, I'm going to be on the lookout for that
one! -
Yeah, it's discontinued. The guy had about 8 of them.
Blade shape is nice, I can have it sharpened at a knife shop, there's two near me that do a good job.
I rotate my knives though, I carry a different one almost every day so they all stay pretty sharp.
For $75 bucks though I couldn't pass that 0700 up. -
Just got the ZT 0566
Love it -
Very nice urb, I like ZT's, never had an issue with one.
-
I feel like a waited FOREVER for this knife. I have a ZT 350 as well and they are both solid for the price.
-
Spanto is a terrific blade shape imo
-
I love the Hinderer design on that knife, so solid and good looking. I have that one on my list, locally the
black is hard to find for some reason…Probably more popular than the tan. I almost bought the tan a few
months ago but decided to hold out for the black. Blade shape is excellent, if I recall the blade is not spring
assisted... -
If it's modeled after the Hinderer XM series (which it physically resembles) then there is probably no assist.

This is the brand new 0566. I got lucky even finding it as most people who preordered still do not have it. It's much smaller and is spring assisted. -
Yes, the 0560 I know isn't spring assisted, the 0566 is. Just checked that. The one I saw was the 0560, the
0566 is the one I want. I'm hoping the guy at the gun show has these, I haven't seen one here locally yet.
What is the blade length on the 0566?
