That's the steel toe. Jobmasters have a much lower toe profile without the steel toe. I agree though, the fact that you can see the steel toe is unattractive. Great boots nonetheless.

I just want to give a shout out to Wesco's customer service. I just got my MP Boss boots back after having the toes stretched and the stitching softened on the vamp. They comped the shipping fees and the job was perfect. The folks at Wesco are great to deal with. Now back to breaking them in.

A really cool Cat and blog reader of mine gifted me these MP toes just out of the blue.  He recommended I swap out the factory buckles and so I did just that with my custom roller buckles.

It's hard to know the exact sole, my guess would be a Vibram 430 or Vibram 700. And the heel is the standard Motor Patrol heel from Wesco. VEB is on the forum, so he would know the exact sole.

Clint nice cop. Those look exactly like mine except natural heel and adges. A 1/4 lower lift and bump toe.
burnish the edges and then give them beeswax
