Thanks Kiya, I liked the look of the worn in boots in the pic. They seem like a great company to work with. I saw boots like you mention in their feed, but they didn't have heels yet. They look very nice even incomplete.
Yup, those are our boots!
Sounds interesting, got any pics to tease us with?
No photos because the boots haven't been finished yet.
-
kiya, what sizes will you carry in the ACE boots?
Size 7 to 11 (US) including half sizes in both the engineer boots and the oxfords.

me too man me too

Eek, probably knocks me out to. Depending on fit I'm 11-12 US. 11 in my Vibergs.

These run a bit big, so if you're an 11 in Viberg you're an 11 in Ace.

Really interested in seeing how the oxfords turn out.

IHSH-87 - Extra Heavy Western Flannel
This shirt is now available for phone order from SENY and SESF. SEDPX should be getting theirs any day now and SELA will have theirs by Friday. Once all the shops receive theirs whatever is left will go online. -
@adam313:
kiya,
Would you consider doing a traveling Self-Edge pop-up shop in America, much like IHJP does at various motorcycle conventions and the like in Japan?
I would love to try on some IH, and I would love to support Self-Edge in any way possible. I believe people all over the country feel the same way that I do. You could tour with Phish, or go to random festivals, or even just have a few guys who could drive around a few places and set up a tent for a day.
What are your thoughts? Maybe it could work like it does in Japan. Just a few people, some equipment, and a vehicle, and all your stuff would sell like crazy because we could try it on first.
Obviously, the US is much bigger than Japan, so the logistics are different, but still, maybe a few places a year or something like that…
Just a thought. Your latest drops have been wild. Well done, sir.
That would be something we would love to do, except cannot due to funds and manpower. Self Edge is an extremely small company, we have four stores and no upper management whatsoever, only owners. So when we do something it's all hands on deck, making it very difficult to do anything other than run the four stores, online, etc.. We'd love to do a tour type thing, and in my eyes we ARE doing a tour, it's just happening slowly. I never thought we'd have four stores in four cities and then think of opening more from there, but that's where we're at and we're grateful for it.
We're at a point where if you travel in the US at all you're bound to be going to at least one of the cities we're in.Thanks for the kind words, glad you like the new stuff we're bringing in. The next couple of weeks is going to be awesome, the Stevenson stuff is really good, William Gibson outerwear is also good, and we're launching John Lofgren (tees and caps for now).

3sixteen+ Indigo-Dyed Linen Shirt & 34BSP Heavyweight Brown Weft Jeans
We've got two new limited edition items from 3sixteen+ this week including a shirt and a pair of jeans.
First we have a short sleeve shirt made of a Japanese pure indigo-dyed linen. The fabric feels cool to the touch and is sure to age well over time as the indigo fades. The fabric was woven in Okayama (Japan) and the shirt was cut and sewn in the USA and comes with natural corozo nut buttons which have already taken on a bit of the color from the indigo fabric.
Recently 3sixteen celebrated their 10th anniversary by creating the Decade Collection, a set of items made to commemorate ten years of being in business, and released at their pop-up shop in NYC. We're happy to announce that we are now carrying one of those items at Self Edge, the 34BSP jean. This is the 30BSP cut, which has turned into one of our most popular fits, in a newly developed 17oz selvedge fabric with a brown pigment dyed weft. This gives the fabric a very unique indigo shade, we're excited to see people wear these in over time, we've had a denim similar to this from Strike Gold and those have looked great over the years.
Both the new indigo-dyed shirt and the 34BSP jean are available now at all Self Edge stores and in our online store. Jeans modeled by SESF's Eugene Terrible, shirt modeled by Josh Harris. Check the online store for full measurements, specs, and high-res photographs.

Anything of note from the William Gibson collection or just the usual?
