What do you think about overdying some of the black/purple buffalo?

ooooooooohhhh!  i think i like that.  the purple can be a little loud. i have touched  the purple 12, and it looks better on darker complexion folks.  over dying the potential ihsh-heavy purple buffalo check sounds NINJA to me. maybe some over dyed and some not?

oo la la.  yes OD would be awesome.  as an owner of a purple 12, something just a little different would be great.

Feb may be a little ambitious.  I just realised that the shirting factory will be going hell for leather with the main IH Spring/Summer shirting and I bet bloody H will pull rank…... 😃 😃 😃

But we have started the processs, so it will be ASAP....

if this is a continuation on the purple discussion, and you are suggesting to overdye it, then you have my vote.

I'll keep saying it, until its done. The 61 didn't sell great due to the horrible print on it. Everyone is always looking for a plain green or khaki western.

Just my opinion, buy I think you guys are missing the point of an overdyed flannel, the IHSH-43 has a great design to the flannel check and it appears slowly as the owner wears the shirt.  For a buffalo check, it's just squares, which is super boring and kind of defeats the purpose of an overdyed flannel.  Your company and your cash though, so do as you please.

Hey G - I know the answer to this is probably 'it's not worth the effort' - but do you think there'd ever be a possibility that the crew could churn out some throat latches for the pea coat?

I've been trying to wrangle one off of a used pea coat, but they always turn into a $40 + pursuit because I've yet to be able to pluck one by itself, without having to buy the full coat.

It sounds like small potatoes, but in my experience last winter, the ability to lock up the stand up collar would make this pea coat completely impenetrable.  It tends to flop around in the wind.

I'm going to continue to look to retrofit something.. maybe I'll just have someone stitch up some denim.  But figured I'd drop the thought..
