^I assume the overall fit of these feel a bit slimmer?  I ask because the size measurements indicate so and I'm still on the fence about getting a pair

I think they feel slimmer right now bc they are much stiffer. After the soak, they came out like cardboard even with all the starch left behind in the tub. Otherwise, they feel similar to my SEXIH13s.

Hmm, watching this thread closely… I'm normally a 33 in 634's. I have the 634S, the B and GR in tagged 33. They all fit great around the thigh when first ordered but do stretch to be a little more lax around the thigh and waist.

I'm starting to think going 33 in these will prob stretch to be similar to the 634S when first purchased apart from the lower half.

Personally the slimmer knee and cuff to me is totally inviting. I've been wanting to try the 666 for the slimmer low half but the ass part is shying me off.

Perhaps these would be a middle of the road 634S-666S hybrid??

        Watching watching.. Recon continues..

Oh, and G, just wondering why you never put fit pics of the back view (no I don't perv on your ass, but I'm sure it's great) on the web page?

One more question.  What are your measurements?  Height, weight etc etc….

I do, when I have time and the photographing is going well….

So, I finally got to put these on today. They've gotten a bit tighter, and they're still insanely stiff. Depending on how they get in the next few days, I may just soak them again to see if any more starch will come out of them. The leg twist is almost comical. I'll try to get a picture showing how extreme it is on the right leg of my pair. I'll try to get some decent cell phone "selfies" of them since it's a nice, sunny day in NYC.

                              edit:

You can see how the selvedge line turns almost to the laces on my right leg.

Some roping already even though this is my first day wearing them.

It's difficult to catch the color difference with my cellphone, but here's a shot with my 23oz jacket.

just a question (because I saw it already in the 666S-19L thread too, that someone did it): why soak an already one-washed pair?

I do it to get the lead out (starch). They were still crisp after they dried, but they're much softer and less rough than fresh out of the bag. It was a short soak in some warm water. I agitated them before taking them out of the water to get as much out as possible. The bathwater was a dirty yellow afterwards, which I'm guessing was the starch.

I always wash my jeans when I get them home for the first time.  Gets out any residual starch or other crap that may have accumulated in them before they made it into my hot little hands.  I also like to wash them to verify that all the shrinking is done, so that I don't have any nasty surprises 3-6 months down the road.

Just a personal preference; I doubt it makes any objective difference.
