Hi, I'm new to this forum but I am a huge fan of Iron Heart clothing. These boots look very cool for riding. How would they hold up in the rain given they look like suede? Why is there only one available in each size and finally the stupid question…Are American and UK sizes the same and if not then what would an 11.5 inch foot be in the UK?
Looks like they make them up to size 11 which is my size if the shoe runs large.

They are reverse out. So to make them really waterproof you would need to treat them, loads of info by people who have done it somewhere here (probably the Viberg thread).
Because I can get more made and making loads and loads of them ties our cash up and until we know what demand is, it would be foolhardy to get lots made.
American and UK sizes are not the same. Go here:

First time poster, having only discovered Iron Heart a week or so ago.
I've pulled the trigger on these beauties (and a bandana). Let's just say it was love at first sight. I've gone for a UK size 10 as I wear Timberlands in 10.5 (US) and Oakley combat boots in 11 (US). My Clarks boots are size 9.5 (UK) and all my other footwear is around a size 10 (UK) or 43 / 44 (European).
Wondering now if the 9.5 would be a better fit as I've read these boots run large? :-\

I think you should be OK, but as you are in the UK, not the end of the world if you need to swap…..

Someone, please by the 9.5 U.K before I do something stupid… Please?? Entirely too much great looking boot there, and I regret not buying from the first collab. Help me to have even more regrets.

It has a bit of a feminine silhouette. That's enough of a deterrent for me. Hopefully that works for you.

This would be more in the line of as well as rather than instead of. But again I have a pair of DMs that I don't wear, and here I am lusting after Viberg boots :P.

These bad boys arrived today (size 10). Identical sizing to my Timberland's in US10.5 and slightly smaller than my Oakleys (UK10). They are beautiful and so heavy. Lifting both with one hand is one way to build muscle!
Just debating on a weatherproofing or to leave be. I think the latter sounds best.
Very happy with these. An investment and I'm sure they'll provide years of faithful service. Probably the best boots I'll ever own…

Many thanks, Morose_Penguin. These boots (and my bandana) are my first Iron Heart purchases and I'm now a customer for life based on the quality of these items. They feel absolutely bulletproof and I imagine they'll age in a lovely fashion.

Too early for me to really comment as I've only worn them for a few minutes indoors…but first impressions match Giles'. My expectations of a comfy pair of slippers has been delivered!
