IH tug-o-war to determine the winner! Seriously though, after the first week the only match im not surprised by is GER/AUS.
After getting to see ESP/SUI I'm amazed there weren't 21 goals scored. So many opportunities!

OK… Had to stay away from this thread until I've watched all the games so far.
Spain... Wow.. I don't know why Del Bosque didn't put Torres in from the very beginning! The play makers were already tired/frustrated when he came on so it was too late for him to make an impact. I hope they bounce back.
Holland did good and will only get better when Robben comes back into the starting line up. I feel old when I thought to myself where's De Boer, Kluivert, Bergkamp, Seedorf, Van Nilsterooy, etc. etc. At least one of the De Boer boys was in a suit as asst boss.
Argentina.. nice. I never thought I'd see the day when "the hand of god" will be boss. He has a very good squad right now and he just might match de kaiser's record (win as player and as boss) if.. IF he gets lucky.

I'm in the same boat here, that's the Dutch team I grew up watching. So much potential in that (and this group)
