Reason i like them better is they aren't as snug in the calf. Both are excellent cuts. I have now tried 634, 666, 555, 301 and am so impressed with all these cuts. I never thought I would be in any other cut than 634. Monday recommended 555 and Urb 666 and holy shit they fit well.

Interesting to hear this opinion. These would be my PERFECT and ultimate jean if they had about an inch or so smaller opening. Now, I know this isn't the idea of them, I'm just saying. The 555 has the type of leg opening I like but not the right top block. I love that vintage (in my eyes anyway) tight top block of the 666 and the fairly low rise (I also recognize one needs to have a smallish waist size to achieve this look). I'm going to get a pair in 31 so that should do the trick.
Plus, the truth is, I love the pocket arcs, and that is my biggest deterrent to the 555-02 versus the 666s. It's all in the details.
Edit: also, I need that extra length otherwise they would end up looking like bell bottoms on me due to my height.
