Cool! I'm set on engineers for a while but I will be following along with interest. The Ace engineers I've seen don't have lasts that speak to me, but I did find some other boots of theirs I loved. Here's a Himel collab I think is pretty rad, and I don't usually dig two tones other than oxfords or sneakers:

The Motor engineers are steerhide. I think they'd age spectacularly. If you follow the link below, then click on "aging" (エイジング) (second from the bottom in the left hand column), then click on a shoe or boot, you'll see some nice examples of well worn Moto footwear. I seriously wish they made the cowhide pecos in my size…..

someone know more about it?I think a Japanese guy runs Ace.
And it was mentioned somewhere that the boots are manufactured in the same workshop as Julian's.
That's just what I read. Can't remember where. But they look very similar. -

I just love these boots - if John in fact makes some in 12.5 or 13 I will jump in. They are REALLY nice - even if they are made of CXL.

They are extremely comfy on the feet as well. Loooooove em.

Don't listen to the hype… The cxl is fine, I really like it on this boot, especially the cxl Spec'd for this boot...

It's not my favorite profile. Don't like the heel, last, or outsole. Even so, I love a worn pair of boots.

I wasn't big on them fresh out the box but they look amazing worn in IMO

Yeah I love the leather and its grain and how the tanning fades. I just don't dig the bulbous toe look and the short heel stack mainly. Still great looking boots just not my ideal.

I hear ya… Normally I'm not about the bulbous toe either but I wouldn't mind having at least one pair and as of now those are the best ones I've seen on the market, they arent TOO over the top... deginetly walk that line well.
that and i have three high end pairs with collapsing toes, and two other pairs to be rebuilt so a little bit of a change wouldn't be bad either

A pair of Georgia's and a pair of ???s no branding that I can locate but a promising shape and nice build. Both were found from therabbithousevintage on etsy..
Nothing too crazy… One day done vintage HH chips would be great though
