My hope is that government incompetency worked out in my favor.  I was at the PO before it opened and retrieved it from the parcel room directly, I don't think it occurred to them to charge duty.

I just LOVE the storm welt…  It looks cool and when you study it it looks like they folded the welt bead themselves, I don't think they used an off the shelf welt, though I could be wrong.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I have to say I can't believe how great these are right out of the box. The fit is SOOO perfect. Crazy awesome

Yeah, there's zero break-in, I feel like my feet are being lovingly embraced….  I put an insole for thin socks, and for thick socks none needed.  That's the definition of a perfect fit for me.

I really never liked the look of engineer boots, they just don't strike me right… UNTIL you show em with some jeans on... then they look pretty damn solid.

Boots are looking great guys. Congrats. My JL's are my only engineers, so I can't compare, but I have found them to be very comfortable. Looking forward to putting them back on in another month or so, when the weather cools.
