Snowy, It's really nice. The pics don't do it justice. The non-adjustable strap hasn't been an issue for me. That's the only thing I can think of that could give people issues. It's a steal at the price too.

I picked up a Pensacola.. On FedEx vehicle for delivery I'm ready to jump out the window of my office to meet it. Will report back.

From Hinoya? Are the buttons on the collar same size as the other buttons? The Japanese price is certainly appealing.

If the removable buttons were for a storm flap over a heavy duty zipper I may have gotten one. Methinks an alpaca IH deck jacket is in my future, though I think this jacket's pretty swell.

I was gonna pull the trigger on that but decided that I should make my purchase wisely. It's super cool looking but for me, I need a denim jacket, a super heavy one for rain, and a leather jacket. I'm 1/3 of the way there and I'm going to do my best not to be swayed…

Well…. Not here yet.

I picked up the Pensacola, tried it on, slept on it over the weekend, and returned it. I didn't even get around to taking any fit pics.

It's an amazing piece. Jungle cloth outside, and cord lining the entire inside. It's like putting on a lined glove.

It was much heavier than I was expecting (hoping). It's more coat than jacket.

I'm longer in the torso, and it sat a bit higher above my waist than I was expecting.

The collar wanted to stay up - and frankly, looked better up. In doing so, sort of dictates that it's worn in colder temps, when you need the wool collar up against your neck. This may have been because it was brand new, and maybe flattens out over time..
I have a deck jacket that's been beaten up and takes the brunt of my cold and wet weather days.. this would have been an expensive piece wasting away in my closet.
