My understanding is that all Heritage boots are made in the States.

      Think it, be it.

I usually get the same size in all RW heritage boots, but you can also get away with an 8D for the Beckman boots. The last is roomier than the 1907. I just measured both of mine with an insole….

Hi! i recently bought a Iron Ranger us9.5 but its hugging my feet pretty tight, no allowance at all, was thinking on getting another in sz10 or should i get a sz9.5E instead?

I'm fine how long the us9.5 feels it's just the width that is bothering me, idk if these will stretch (width) more as i wear them, tho but afraid it might get bulky or not proportion to its sole 😣

I'm also on the look out on getting another pair, Round Toe 8196 or the 875, how are these compared (sizing) to Iron Rangers?

                    Thanks!

How do they look when they're laced up Sadik?  Feet hanging over the sides, super wide lacing?

Yeah they look like you could go to E by my untrained eyes…  I've had a similar issue as I'm often between D and E width... Alden Trubalance I'm good with a D but White's SD last looked like I was hanging over the side like that...

                            Aww!

How much is the difference (width) between a 9.5d to a 10d? I might get a sz10 instead, could use a little room from toe to heel i guess.

Sorry if i'm asking a lot of query, theres no local retailer or shop of redwings here  :-\

First, I wear the same size in all RW models. But I feel, like the 877 is the widest out of the 8112, 9014, 9016, 2940 and Logger. Then, RW uses pretty moist leather, about 30% if I recall right. This allows the shoe to form to your feet, especially in width.

That's what the owner of RW store Hamburg tells his customers at least. If the length is ok, you might get a decent fit after all. All my RW were uncomfortable at the beginning, but ended up perfect. But then, I can't judge how tight they really are on you…

What socks do you wear? You could go with thin socks in the current boots or size up and wear thick socks, as RW recommends.

ow the socks, wearing a thin sock on these  🙂

Not sure what the size up does to the width, a D to an E is often 3/16th of an inch but that probably varies last to last and shoemaker to shoemaker

HI Sadik,we have the same issue with the iron ranger.
I bought my iron ranger ins US8.5D and also the 9075 Moc in US8.5D. the 9075 fits nice, although now they feel bit loose. The Iron ranger is bit snug/tight just like yours. I did put a shoe tree in them and wear thin socks.so far they're starting to be ok.but they still feel stiff maybe cause of the chaparral leather. next time I'm gonna buy a US9 for Iron ranger, cause I like to have an extra insole in them due to my runner's heel. I think RW doesnt have an E for iron ranger.

Might get another one in sz10, yeah IR didn't come in E sizing, the ones i saw online was on EE width, i asked Redwing Facebook page and told me that from a width of D to E is about a .2 inch difference so i guess getting a sz9.5EE (.4 inch i guess) is not a good idea afterall.

Oh well! Thats what i get for not researching enuf about it 😣 I didn't get in to account on how other feels about their shoe fit, I just thought just to size down half a size.

same here Sadik. I gambled too. But now i know at least for sure that the 8.5 for snug fit or 9 for a loose fit.its not like the 9 is way too loose and big. 😛

^would you recommend on getting a sz10 for 8196 and 875 rather than getting them in sz9.5? Considering that Iron Rangers run narrow, read up somewhere that they're likely a C width.
