Hey guys, I'm new here.  Just copped this jacket from Self Edge today; couldn't wait any longer.  I'm gonna post some fit pics of this and my 301s eventually.  The jeans are bad-ass thus far, and I can only imagine that the jacket is gonna be killer.

Fit pics coming as soon as it arrives.  How is this thing as far as heaviness?  Will I sweat my ass off on summer nights?  Or is it bound to be broken out when the weather gets cold again?

Heavy it most definitely is! I would say depending on how you sized on it will dictate how hot it will be. As I sized up on mine(46) it is fine to wear out during Summer nights, but if I had sized properly I prob would not be as comfortable. I tried wearing my IH-9527J (42) out the other night to the corner store and it was way too much!

Hey guys.  So I got the jacket; it fits really well all over, but I'm just a little concerned about the length.  It feels a little short.  Are type III jackets supposed to be a tad short?    Later on today or tomorrow, I'll finally post some fit pics and you guys can give me some insight.  Thanks!

as stated on the se measurements this one runs pretty short. Not all Type III jackets are as short

Hey no worries and no rush. Mine has been worn about 15 times but is in impeccable condition. Just hanging in my closet in hopes that someone will trade with me. If not, I will just layer it up for Winter no problem. Enjoy that heat!

Just an update for those that keep asking about an overdyed denim jacket.
We're doing a modified Type III Iron Heart jacket in overdyed denim.
It'll be the same denim as the SEXIH07, super tight weave, fades very well, overdyed black. 
The jacket will have hand pockets AND will be 2.5" longer in body length to accommodate those who are either tall or don't like to tuck their shirts in under their denim jacket.
