^I agree.  Great Pics.  Better fit.

I am currently working in my MBBs (or is it the other way around?), but I am going to need a pair of these, at some point.  634 is my favorite cut, and this 25oz denim is in a class by itself.

      634-XHS is IH's masterpiece

The 25 oz denim is, rather, in my opinion…  🙂

IH noob here: How much shrinkage can expect in the thighs on these? (Saw a pic in this thread w/crazy shrinkage;tryin to figure if I should size up).

Reference: Im 32 in Momo201, but looking for slightly more relaxed fit.

I've seen the same pics, I don't remember who it was but they got massive shrink with a hot water machine wash and drying it in the dryer. As long as you wash in cooler water and hang dry you should be fine.

Looks like I'm going to have to figure out what my "true size" is in IH.  I don't have a pair that perfectly matches the relaxed cut I'm looking for so my best jeans' measurement (Momo201, sz32) are slimmer than I want in the thighs for my 634XHS (but fit me okay in the waist).  I'm not sure whether I'm a 32 or 33 in IH.  Here are my broken in Momotaro measurements:

                                    W: 32.5-33inch
R:10.5inch (from bartack/IH method; 11in from bottom of crotch)
                                    T: 12inch
                                    O: 8.8

Nothing worse than jeans to tight to want to wear…except jeans so baggy they fall off your butt and make you look like a kid.  For point of reference I'm 5'7" and weigh about 160-165 lbs.  Been stoked about these for a week, now I just figure out what size to get.  [sorry for the noob post..and thanks!]

                                      I'd go sz 32. 33's will stretch to 34.

The thigh on the 32 is 12.5 which meets your thigh requirements. If you need more than 0.5 inches in the thighs you'll have to go 33 and keep a nice belt close by. 32 is the pick IMO.

Went with the 32s per sage sizing advice by Snowy, Seul, Deviant, XTC, Giles and Kris B.  Fit worked out.  Luke at Mildblend confided that SE is no longer hemming the 25oz, so Chicagoans who purchase from SE will have to have to get their chainstitching done locally at MB.  He took out his hammer and proceeded to spend the next 25 minutes hemming me up.  Here's a pic of that.

                                        Fit pics to follow.

But yeah..Mildblend has a good selection of premium Japanese denim…mostly they stock Jap denims sewn here in the US (i.e. Rogue Territory, Railcar, etc.).  The owner said he doesn't carry IH because most people, even denim nerds, wont pay the ironprice.  But a great store, highly recommended.
