                      Yeah, I suppose so, though tooled leather like this isn't entirely uncommon in Western circles here in the States.  This one was made in Chris' neck of the woods.

                      The original buckle looks like this:

                        Yeah, tooled belts are pretty common in the south and southwest US

                              Thanks man. I love western gear. Not really a cowboy hat guy but I'll wear understated shirts, tooled belts, and boots.

                              Rockin it with the JC today, but my black cowboy boots are sadly being resoled.

                                      There are a couple of Japanese manufacturers doing very similar belts right now.

                                      Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

                                        He will make them to order; this one was. I would guess this is 2.25-2.5mm thick steer. It's solidly thick. You wouldn't want it super thick because the studs are substantial.

                                        It's a great belt, well worth the asking price.

                                        Here she is next to a 4.7 mm belt.  I think I lowballed the thickness.

                                          Great studded belt there, veb does great stuff. Awesome catch for sure

                                          lusting for a vintage HTC one day, my flathead comes pretty close to it but all in the eye of the beholder 🙂
