IH Fantasy Football 2013-2014

I got introduced to football about 5 years ago as my best mate is American and have followed it since.
For my sins, I'm a Bengals fan..Bless you haha! The only bet you might win with the Bengals is the over/under on how many of their players will get arrested during the season
-
Cool, Alex. Good to know. True, the Bengals have had their struggles, but they are actually on the cusp of big things, I think. I'm betting the Ravens will take a step back this year, and the Steelers D isn't what it was. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bungles win their division this year. This is actually one of the greatest strengths of the NFL. Teams have the ability to turn things around with solid management, drafting, and coaching. Baseball, for instance, is mostly dominated by large market teams with fat TV contracts.
-
Yeah all joking and bias aside I completely agree with you about them winning the afc north this year. With the players the ravens have lost, and the way the steelers played last season, is make them early favourites. Hopefully the apparent reliance on rookie offence this season will pay off..
Who do you guys all support?

To give you my history of involvement with NFL, I loved the Raiders after they were featured on an episode of Knight rider in 1985, used to watch them constantly when the UK Channel 4 had the rights to broadcast NFL matches, when that ended so did my brief career as a Raiders fan…..that was 1993.
Has much changed since?

They still have the most bad ass uniforms though right? It has a dude with an eye patch on it, how can it not be awesome.
Not to fussed about them stinking, in REAL football I am a Newcastle United fan, and we have proudly stank for over 50 years.

And their colors are black and silver. Yeah, they still have some of the best unis in all of American sports.
Panthers fan first, pull for Seahawks second because of my boy Russell Wilson whom I've met 3 times and played at my alma mater. Nicest dude in the world!
He is the king of the city, right now. I've never heard one thing that is even remotely negative about RW. I think he will end up passing Steve Largent as the greatest player in franchise history.

Lemme know if we're lacking numbers, my cousin (another limey asshole) who actually watches NFL (49ers fan) would like to get in on this.

Alright guys, I've had some down time since the little guy has been sleeping. I've compiled a list of the top rated players at each position and the top 300 players based on a PPR league settings. I will send these files to everyone and these files will be what you can use to draft your players. As the draft goes on, I will update everyone's team as well as the top 300 list to reduce people drafting those that are already off the board.
The season begins on September 5th so my plan is to begin the drafting on August 1st
Still have atleast 6 spots open for those still wanting to get in

^I will have to respectfully disagree. I think people enjoy FFL for different reasons. I play FFL to compete against friends, and make that Dolphins v. Browns game on Thursday night interesting. The smack talk is icing.
I've only ever had fun doing a draft in person with friends, beer, and BBQ. Online drafts have always been a means to an end, for me.
Having said that, I don't think your idea is terrible. Noon EST is 5p UK and 9a PST, right? That's not bad at all. I have absolutely zero problem with the draft model bagley has proposed. My only thought is it will be a lot more leg work on his end. If that's something that you are comfortable with, bagz, I am all for it.
