as giles always says, "Never say never." I'm sure that kiya has taken note that even just in the last few days there has been a peaked interest in this denim being reproduced. I think he just wants to put out some unexplored territory before rerunning a denim they just offered recently. From a business standpoint I get it that many customers are always on the lookout for the next best thing or being on the "brink".
But there will always be us old farts too who feel that if it aint broke don't fix it!

Well the sexi13 was a run of 300, it sold very slow, the 634 version was 100 and sold faster but I think kiya was prolly scared to sit on all that inventory, learned his lesson. But I agree with you tat, if there's a bunch of money to be made, I think never is a strong word. Espessially when you stumble on a denim that is that good. I'm sure they gave the specs they wanted but how could they know it would come out like that

are you guys talking about the sexihxlsxa13? that was an odd cut… but the same denim as these. I don't feel like the sexih13 was odd at all... its very similar to the traditional IH634 it was modeled after.

If there's any of those available why doesn't somebody just buy one and run it through some alterations?

a jean with a disproportionate waist to thigh ratio such as I have read about with this particular jean is what i believe would constitute an "odd cut" , i dont know how else to describe besides that. Especially since a hypothesis of a mistake is pure speculation ( at least as far as my reading on this jean has educated me) one can only assume that it was in fact the way that the jean was designed and intended to be therefore making it in the particular "odd"

would be interesting if someone was willing to attempt that MCL… I, for one, dont have the balls to do that as I would imagine it would take a complete overhaul in the top block not just the waist but I can't help but think that it would effect the pocket placement on both front and back as well

I actually bought it, tried it and returned it - loved the denim but hated the fit - didnt work at all - i am a 38 in IH, ordered a 36 in that cut and the waist was still too big, and very low rise. all-around an "odd duck" fit. but i loved the denim and ordered it in the 634 - perfect.

Yeah I know it's daunting and desperate; the circumstances warrant at least my bringing it up though.

Just to be clear I was talking about the xAlden version in the 23 oz. The 634 in this denim - as everybody has attested to - is awesome - nothing "odd" about that.
And just to be clear, the xAlden version is the version I own, and they fit me perfectly, so they're not odd for everyone. Just had to throw that out there.

I was thinking that as well but think its just because the sun is hitting it and the sheen is making it look lighter than it is.

The 23oz fabric looks so lovely!!! If you want something special, you should try the 634LHT
19oz, ultra stiff porno denim in our fav 634 cut
