Viberg Scout Boot

Slowly breaking these bad boys in. Fit still feeling pretty close to perfect. With thick socks everything's 100%, thin sock about 90% ace. Able to get away with either I'm pretty sure.

Relevant question with shitty weather on it's way over. Should these be Obenauf'd? Not familiar with Buffalo leather. Thanks in advance.

After 2-3 days of walk time these are starting to become soft as butter. Overjoyed comes to mind.

Still utterly utterly in love with these. Still trying to work out the word to describe the feeling my feet feel. Overjoyed is all I've got still. They're just really comfortable, lol….anyhow.......

I gave these a light coat of Ovenauf's last night to prepare for the upcoming winter. I've NEVER seen leather absorb it so quickly. The buffalo's gone from being this really bumpy/rough leather to a nice soft, smooth, grained leather. I'm sure in a few weeks it'll be back to being rough :). In the mean time it looks like they absorbed some needed oils.

Would be keen to hear how the rest of these are going and if you've put any oils in/on them.....I was not expecting such a large difference....

Hey snowman, I have not oiled yet but was actually considering it soon. They have been worn everyday since I got them with the exception of a few days I was working from my office at home and running around in my house slippers. Interesting to hear how the buffalo reacted to the obenaufs but I'm sure as the oils dry out the rough character will reappear. The toe if mine has actually worn smooth in some spots and its a pretty cool up close evo to view. As far as comfort level I completely agree with your statement. They are absolutely and ridiculously comfortable for any kind of footwear let alone boots! I promise to get more pics up as soon as my semester is over right now just getting my ass handed to me with studies!

tried mine on while in the states for 9 days… wore them a day. The fit is awesome, LOVE the boot...No I didn't get the chance to take any pics... too much running around... Was surprised at how massive they are. Received a ton of compliments with just the one wear though..

The first crease marks in the buffalo are starting to set in. That's ~4 months of almost dedicate shoe-wearing, and they're starting to open up. Amazing.
