True enough, Gav. It's sometimes hard not to feel like the end product should be something ground down to threads, since that's what gets the biggest reaction when the pics are posted. I respect how hard LN works and how that's reflected in his jeans. I'm never going to be that hard on my clothes, simply because my lifestyle isn't very rough. That's sort of the beauty of a contest like this- you get to see lots of different denim and lots of different lives. Not to be overly philosophical, but it's the journey that's interesting, more so than the destination.
While our lifestyles may differ, our philosophy doesn't. I think we'll see two types of jeans in the end. Highly contrasted, beautifully faded pairs…and then basically just pant shaped shrapnel. It'll be fun to watch either way.

Major Announcement
As you are aware the intention for HWDC2 was to be supported with its own website, for one reason and another (mainly that the people building the site stopped talking to me) this did not happen…....until now.
My good friend Snowy has built for us, with his own skills, and time and from the goodness in his heart, a fantastic photo upload website at the following address....
Please carefully follow the instructions when uploading a picture and your contest number, and forum name should appear on the main site after 1 minute. The site draws information from a copy of my database, if any of this is out of date, so will your information be also.
Please raise any questions or concerns in the forum thread rather than by PM, and Snowy or myself will do our best to address them.
Have a play around with the site, and please do remember to read the instructions carefully !

Was a bit of fun making this over the past few weeks. I'll keep improving it if it's getting but felt it was worth getting out there in a decently functioning state.
Finn, hope you don't mind the test photos I uploaded for you ;). I realized you had more important things happening in your life at the moment (hard to believe, right?!)

hi xtcclassic, yes, it needs to be done on a computer at this stage. If that's not possible for you, PM me your files and I will get them up for you.

very minor tweak to http://hwdc2.com
Now it displays the most recent images on left. This way a quick scroll down will always show the most recent update.
There's now 23 different competitors with some updates on there. Already showing some great diversity on sizing/jeans. Thank you all for using :). The great thing, the more it gets used, the more useful it becomes :).
