HC-MD-01
Decided to wash my MBB and following the comments here on shrinking,I washed it with a 40 degrees temp. I feel they shrunk a tiny bit,noticeably the waist.they were much looser than now.but we'll see how fast they stretch out.
of the legs and thigh I do feel they shrunk,they look more slimmer than before even though that might only be 1-2cm.
No post wash pics yet,will do them once I get someone to help me.

Diaz, looking good there. To be honest, I wasn't sure about wearing 25oz in 90*+ weather but it really isn't all that unbearable. The denim is getting really soft and the fit is getting more enjoyable. I also got my hat today and I really love it.

It's a two year contest, you'll have plenty of time to catch up. After all, he's going to wear his out in 6 months and have to move on to a new pair.

In my opinion (although I am not a judge), this is a denim evolution contest rather than a "First to reduce your jeans to rags" contest. That was not pointed at LN, as I know his worn jeans look amazing, I just don't want people getting the wrong idea about any expectations.

True enough, Gav. It's sometimes hard not to feel like the end product should be something ground down to threads, since that's what gets the biggest reaction when the pics are posted. I respect how hard LN works and how that's reflected in his jeans. I'm never going to be that hard on my clothes, simply because my lifestyle isn't very rough. That's sort of the beauty of a contest like this- you get to see lots of different denim and lots of different lives. Not to be overly philosophical, but it's the journey that's interesting, more so than the destination.

Major Announcement
As you are aware the intention for HWDC2 was to be supported with its own website, for one reason and another (mainly that the people building the site stopped talking to me) this did not happen…....until now.
My good friend Snowy has built for us, with his own skills, and time and from the goodness in his heart, a fantastic photo upload website at the following address....
Please carefully follow the instructions when uploading a picture and your contest number, and forum name should appear on the main site after 1 minute. The site draws information from a copy of my database, if any of this is out of date, so will your information be also.
Please raise any questions or concerns in the forum thread rather than by PM, and Snowy or myself will do our best to address them.
Have a play around with the site, and please do remember to read the instructions carefully !
