yes 😛 going to stay like that…4ever i believe 😃

Cool.  I'm still toying with the idea of soaking mine, try and soften the denim a bit.  I love them, but they can bite around the thighs after a full day's wear.  Slightly concerned about shrinkage in that area though - not sure I can afford any less room 😃

Great fit, by the way 😎

I did soak mine. And am glad I did. They turned out a bit softer and I could need the shrinkage in the inseam. The thighs don't shrink anything noticable.

Looks interesting (and uncomfortable!). But it shows, how fast the sbg denim fades. I'm also impressed that you can see the fades of the frontpockets on Finn's last pic.

hahahahaha, it was uncomfortable! But I'm getting used to it, like my thick leather wallet in my left back pocket.
I can't get that fade in front pockets since I have very tiny thighs, and I take upsize because I'm afraid that I'll grow fatter than now…

This will be interesting. I picked up a tagged size 30, which according to the chart measures 32 inches at the waist. As long as I can stretch it out to 33 I'll be good to go. Have you guys gotten at least an inch in stretch out of these?

I have chicken legs so I don't even have to worry about thigh measurements.  😞

waist should stretch 1" easy. hopefully you have chicken legs all the way down. from knee down can get dicey (for me) on this cut.

My thighs are actually proportionate to my body. It's PRECISELY from knee down that I look like a doofus. It's like a genetic mishap or something, I has cigarette sticks for shins! (In other words, I'll be fine with the knee-down taper as long as I can button the jean).

Is it a lot stiffer than the regular 21 oz denim? Does it still soften up the same?

They are stiff, but soften up a lot. I haven't worn them enough to compare with the regular 21 oz denim though, but think they are the same.

Yes they definitely soften up and quickly achieve the same hand the flagship denim is known for, the stacks take a while to break in which really isn't an issue, the jeans are amazing, they've become my favorite pair, just not as versatile as 555-01's so they don't get as much wear as I would like, especially with me being in LA and the weather getting warmer
