            Mamizuka Leather Works sell a range of simple tethers.

            And also one that's more of a strap.

            They're available in black, saddle, and, in the case of the strap, black and saddle. The fittings can be silver, brass or black, and there are a number of different yarn colours too.

            The price is around $60. Neolatine carries the brand, and might be able to get you one, otherwise you'll have to chance ordering directly. And my Japanese isn't up to that!

                @JCMx800:

                I need something like the IHG-03 (tan), but with non-brass hardware. Any suggestions???

                Just noticed this: http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68&products_id=264

                    @Anesthetist:

                    I ordered my RedMoon Ghost from Neolatine and they were excellent to deal with. Highly recommended and I will probably be ordering from them again soon.

                    How did the Ghost work out for you? And how has it aged? Thanks.

                    I'm tempted by on myself…

                          Gorgeous. I think they also use Horween sometimes.

                            Damn, they do such nice work.  That blue shell looks amazing.  I'd love a pair of boots made from it, but I'm sure the cost would be breathtaking.

                              Thanks Anesthetist.

                              Louis, that's a fantastic looking wallet. I really like the blue Cordovan.

                              Chris, Rancourt sell boots in shell, and sometimes have it in navy. For Colour 8 they're $675.

                              They do loafers in navy, and they're $25 more than the regular model.

                                Thanks for the link, but I was thinking more along these lines:

                                John Lofgren & Co. x Mushman's Engineer Boots; these are in "ortensia x navy", which is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but picture them in navy shell cordovan with nickel roller buckles and honey lug Vibram soles…

                                  Those are nice boots, and I see what you're getting at.

                                    Getting back on topic, Rettam Yorozya sell a load of Ghost wallet variants.

                                    This one is (I think) hand dyed. It's a good thing that the shop doesn't ship to the UK as it's 44,000 Yen!

                                    A one-off Pailot River model. This is (only) 38,000 Yen.

                                    It's White Sage according to the blurb. Looks a bit more suspicious to me…

                                    And the Mysterious 44.

                                      If I could ever find a reason for buying a leather jacket, I would buy that one.  I love café racers and I love that it's a color other than black or brown, so I could easily justify getting a second one in a more basic/versatile color.  Win. 🙂

                                          I live in Houston.  Today, it's 91°.  Naturally, I'm on vacation in Las Vegas, where it's 106°.  In other words, I don't have a lot of opportunities to wear jackets, much less heavier options like leather.  I guess the plus side is that it would last forever, even if it was crap quality.
