I convinced Jody to let me get a 26" A frame ladder a similar way. We did a cost comparison on how much it would cost to hire a handyman to install a new ceiling fan vs getting the giant ladder, and the cost was the same as the ladder. Plus I got a really nice ladder out of it

Btw, my dad might have a compound miter saw he'll sell you. His hands aren't too steady anymore and he's not comfortable using it

Not sure if this is a random announcement or more of a a rant, but im about to go into a meeting to let a staff member go.  It's a truy awful feeling.

When I was in Japan, Haraki raised the ugly possibility that we may not be able to make any more 25oz denim.  The Mill is having a tough time justifying the wastage (even though we buy it back from them, it offends their sense of perfection).  Pressure was applied.  We are weaving as I type….HURRAH.....

God I wish I could understand where this came from. Not as a logical concept, but as a cultural feeling / way of life. One of those JP concepts that's so deep in the culture.
