Just sold a pair of Samurai 701s. I initially loved the feel, but after a bunch of wear and the first wash (gentle no spin cold water) they began to blow out in a random spot. It was small and fixable but it made me really dislike the dry feeling of the denim, it seems so prone to this problem. Bought a pair of IH 301s instead

I've just bought a pair off 883's and I totally agree with you about Eternal denim.
Perhaps we need to start an Eternal thread. I'll get some fit pics of mine happening soon.

I just threw my 710's on for a few hours this evening for old time's sake– still love everything about them. Such great denim with so much character and such great fading characteristics, and a golden cut on top of it all.
