The Flat Head

thanks guys but now the jeans fits just a little snug for my mate. however she's worried that a soak might make them too small to wear. im not familiar with FH jeans and im unsure how much this pair is gonna shrink and etc. what'd ya guys reckon? swap for 1 size up or stick with it? i've emailed kiya and he said she needs 1 size up base on the pictures… hmmm....
p.s. - i tried searching the forum but there's no appropriate topic i can think of except this thread since its about "woman in iron heart", i thought i'd just give it a go here. sorry if i posteed in the wrong thread.

for those that have that new flathead d&d wabash… how do the fits compare to IH shirting.. If I am usually a large in IH would I be ok with a snug 42.... this is what I am thinking based of SE measurements but I know their stuff is hit and miss at times.
I have decided to sell my IHSH- 69 wabash western ... there is just somehting incredibly odd about the cut on me and I have done everything to try to remedy the situation; by and by, it hangs practically unused in my basement (also known as my enormous walk in closet)

Flat Head shirts run quite short compared to IH shirts - typically at least an inch shorter in length. It works for me, but I get the impression from your posts that you require a longer-cut shirt for your proportions.

I have a hard minimum of 28.5ish on length of body. It's the sleeves the kill me but this looks to be (by SE measurements) do able… Think I'm gonna hold out for tomorrows sale and give it a whirl... Worst case scenario I send it back and have store credit... Not like it won't get used.

Cool, I hope it works for you. Looks like an incredible shirt.

Good luck with it I'm sure you will like it. Their construction is very good even with light weight fabrics and although the fit takes getting used to, I'm a fan.

If you're a large in IH 42 is def your flat
head shirt size imo -
Awesome! Appreciate your insight fellas!

I'm a large in IH and the one FH flannel I have is a 44 and the fit is perfect. I need a sleeve length of 25 minimum (really 25.5 is better) which seems to be the limiting factor on FH 42s that I've looked into.

finally decided to stack this f310
any suggestion? thanks.

I think those look perfect on you. I miss the Pioneer denim in my life…

Those look great man.
A waiter caught me mid-taking-fit pic…

If I'm always a 42 in FH shirts, what size do I take for the tees? 42 seems mighty tight going by measurements online.
thanks

I'm a 40 in shirts and a 42 in tees. Using Self Edge's measurements, a 44 tee shrinks to a 41.5" chest after its first wash so that should be right for you.
