thanks, fyi ive benn washed this jeans 1 times, and soaked it for 4 times, i thought that on its max shrinkage

bought a FH jeans from SE for my mate's birthday but this happened. anyone able to explain? isit because it's raw unsanforised? or the cut? would a soak solve it or should we return it? not sure if Kiya would allow exchange for this.

volcano, if unsoaked and unhemmed, kiya will return them for credit

if unsanforized, they'll need to be soaked, and with wear and time funny creases etc will be fine, if the jeans fit just go with it

thanks guys but now the jeans fits just a little snug for my mate. however she's worried that a soak might make them too small to wear. im not familiar with FH jeans and im unsure how much this pair is gonna shrink and etc. what'd ya guys reckon? swap for 1 size up or stick with it? i've emailed kiya and he said she needs 1 size up base on the pictures… hmmm....

p.s. - i tried searching the forum but there's no appropriate topic i can think of except this thread since its about "woman in iron heart", i thought i'd just give it a go here. sorry if i posteed in the wrong thread.

thanks guys. have done as mentioned. sent the jeans back to Kiya. just that i've to pay another USD40 for shipping the new jeans back to me.

$40USD is nothing based on years of proper fitting and happy wearing. Keeping them and not wearing would be the real crime. She's a lucky lady, doubly so now

40usd is nothing to compare with a FH jeans wrongly sized.
Volcano, the FH denim shrink after a soak of course, but much more after a washing machine.
really, u made the right choice.

for those that have that new flathead d&d wabash… how do the fits compare to IH shirting.. If I am usually a large in IH would I be ok with a snug 42.... this is what I am thinking based of SE measurements but I know their stuff is hit and miss at times.

I have decided to sell my IHSH- 69 wabash western ... there is just somehting incredibly odd about the cut on me and I have done everything to try to remedy the situation; by and by, it hangs practically unused in my basement (also known as my enormous walk in closet)

Flat Head shirts run quite short compared to IH shirts - typically at least an inch shorter in length. It works for me, but I get the impression from your posts that you require a longer-cut shirt for your proportions.

I have a hard minimum of 28.5ish on length of body. It's the sleeves the kill me but this looks to be (by SE measurements) do able… Think I'm gonna hold out for tomorrows sale and give it a whirl... Worst case scenario I send it back and have store credit... Not like it won't get used.
