I'll suggest a few good pubs. Against the grain on Wexford street has a wide beer selection and good food. O'Donneghues on Baggot street is a good traditional bar and always has a trad music session on weekends. A good value spot is the Gingeman around the corner from Pearse train station and has a very good pitcher deal on Franciscan well beers and party platters of food if you have people with you. The Black sheep is on Capel street is good and has a Foosball table and dart board downstars and a great beer selection. Being on Capel street there are great Korean barbecue places up the street towards the Liffey. The long hall is well know by Georges street and is in an old church and its usually packed on weekends.
