Great fit and an Emerson fan too I see!

Yup..my CQC-5 fits the knife pocket on the MBBs perfectly! My old school custom CQC-8 will see a lot of pocket time in these jeans too, and I'll be wearing them to the Blade show in Atlanta next month.

Yep. Contest. I ´ve ordered a pair of beatles volume one. The denim and cut sounds so much promising…

really looking forward to some first pics of those and how the fit is going to look on all the different persons…happy to see you´re joining as well!

First every pair of Iron Hearts. First fit pics.

They seem big to me.  Should I size down 1.

Top block looks good. Mabey a slimmer cut, if you don't like the strait leg cut

                Welcome, nicely done Sopiarz3.

@Nerkg, they're still really stiff, they'll look much more natural in a few weeks. Sopiarz3's on a great fit.

                @nietenhosen beautiful finish, true class.

…yes I'm barefoot, but just pretend I'm wearing some über cool shoes or something 😉

Post-soak and with shoes! Might have been able to size down to 35, but IMHO they still look good regardless.

                  Cheers!

So it's time to put these Elephant 2 away in the closet for two years.  These have about one year and two months of wear. Note the cheap belt that I needed to replace badly so I got the belt from Mega. I don't have any good pics of it yet though.

Even though the 634s are only 1oz lighter denim they feel a lot lighter than the elephant 2.

Thought I'd do a hot soak to get rid of any shrinkage.
                            A couple of hours soaking

Got some, what I assume is starch, out but not much indigo

                            Drying

mine are done with soaking…just re-measured them as well and there was almost no shrinkage at all!
the only "noticable" shrinkage was 0.5cm in waist, 1cm in back rise, 0.5cm in knee and 3cm in length...rest is still the same!

post soak fitpics and all are following later today!

true, but the other thing is that now the constructional stichting is "in the right place" and most of the starch is gone as well so the denim itself feels and looks a bit rougher! so all in all i still would do it again 😉

I know most people disagree with me about soaking and washing and that's ok. I like the starch. After about six months it helps create that waxy sheen.
But Finn, LETS SEE THOSE POST WASH FIT PICS!! ::)

Soaking without agitation won't do much at all.
