Then I get to the Post Office to be told "there's no collection today in this weather"ย
Oh well, the belts are in the mail and should arrive with people in 5 - 12 daysโฆ..weather dependant.

If I didn't get them shipped today, then I don't know when I would have got it done. I have 9 - 10 hour shifts on Monday to Thursday, followed by a few days with the Padmores for the CSMโฆ.busy times ahead.
Yup, weather sucks balls, Tommy and his loony friend seem to like it though.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Haraki for what he and the Japanese crew have pulled off.
As you may know, we lost a load (circa 50%) of 25oz denim in the last run.ย We get a percentage wastage in all the denims we make, but normally the percent we lose is a constant (per type).ย With the 25oz, seeing that it is on the edge of what is sensibly possible, the wastage is completely unpredictable.ย 50% broke all our records!
When I met H in Singapore I asked him how the MBB's were going.ย He said they weren't.ย I explained how important it was that they were done on time.
Once he understood the real criticality of meeting the deadline, he did just about everything humanly possible to make sure he did not let you guys down.ย That included a 20 hour round trip to Kojima to explain the criticality face-to-face with the team down there.ย This just after coming back from SE Asia.
Never once did he bitch, moan or complain.ย He just motivated the team and got on with it.

Giles communicated all this to me as and when it was happening, and I too would like to echo exactly what Giles has said.
Simply put, I cannot imagine another company owner doing what H has done, or going as far as H has gone to ensure that his customers, and our contestants get their jeans, at a cost measured both financial and hassle/ stress time.
This is why we're all here, this is why we're IH customers, and this is why over 100 of us are competing in the HWDC wearing the Mega Beatle Busters.
