I had an unexpected pleasant day….
went to pick-up some new specs from the lens-fitting, to find out that the lovely (I told here that, so maybe that was it ;)...) sales assistant gave me a "special customer" (whatever that means) discount of 400 and some change Euro... not sure what I did or should think of this, but thank you...
further to Frankfurt for some business stuff, took the subway and an asian tourist girl asked for some help to get to a tourist point of interest place, was my direction anyway so we went together and chatted the walk... it was a big time fun lunch Mrs Mi Jung from Korea.....
my business stuff went great as well....
...... and I got some fab sundown (ugly out of the dirty train window snap, but anyway...)
….

rocket: great stuff!..
As for me, after some issues (and spending some money), I finally have a KICKASS, wireless internet connection… Clocking at 10 mb/s d/l and 3.5 u/l... I come from a 1 mb/s d/l and 0.06 (!) upload so yeah I'm a happy camper...
And soon they'll have even stronger wireless USB adapters so it'll be even faster, FASTER I TELLS YOU!..

Thanks rocket!

I had an amazing thing happen to me today: Me and a friend were out riding the local trails and when we stopped for a coffee I notice the small bag containing my iphone, credit card and driver's license had fallen out of my backpack's pocket - I had accidentally left it partly unzippered and took a couple of spills that caused the bag to fall out at ome point.
Anyway, called the cc company immediately (with my friend's phone)and blocked the card. A half hour later my wife called my friend and said a guy had called my dad's wife (my father has the same first name as me) and had asked if my dad was missing his stuff. Got the guys number and met up with him and got my stuff back, he was just a five minute ride away from where I was at the time. The guy's dog had come carrying the bag and that's how it ended up with him, and he had gone through a lot of trouble to get a hold of me. Didn't have any cash on me at the moment to give to him as a reward, and when I asked him for his bank account number so I can thank him for his honesty and help he said he didn't want any money - what he wanted was that I pay a good deed forward when the opportunity comes.
What an amazing human being he was. The world needs more people like him.
