Once again the horribly unpredictable weather here in the By Area proved no match for the IHJ-05! Rain and Wind… HAHAHHAAHHAHAHAA

…that's my email.  I'm looking forward to the new addition.  The jacket's just leaving the hub from across the pond so it'll be a week or so and I will post pics.

                    Yeah, that's me, I'm new here…Hello.

I ordered a large in grey a few days ago.  It's due tentatively here on the 5th.  I'm a little concerned about sleeve length since I'm 5'11 but I take a long in a few brands so It'll probably be close enough.  At 205 Lbs I think it will work with a layer.  I'm in Texas and can usually get buy with a good shell and a fleece most of the winter and this design gives me a lot of room that I like.

Off the top of my head, without seeing it, the only thing I suspect that would make it better is the liner.  The liner will wear out before the condura--that stuff is really tough stuff and heavy.  I have a full riding suit in grey condura and that stuff is insanely tough stuff.  It's hard to understand this unless you've actually felt the material. I think the IH condura would be ideal with a cotton drill or something similar that you'd get in a leather jacket.

I'm guessing I'll love it.  I'm very basic and functional with what I wear so IH's line appeals to me a lot.  I think this jacket's just plain tough looking and super understated.  Good for a tumble or two if required.

                    RIP, Geo

Well it came this morning, 2 days early, all gloriously wrapped in blue.  How the hell it got to Texas from NY in 24 hours is a mystery to me.

Dead on fit for my size.  No room for layering but actually prefer this fit over what I had in mind.  It's the ultimate windbreaker…if you into that sort of thing.  But the fit and feel is much more of a garage type jacket which I really like. I rarely look like I haven't just left a garage somewhere anyways.  I'd actually like to get an XL for layering but that would be extravagant for what these cost.

If anyone's on the fence with colors my advice is to go with the grey, absolutely.  It's a very dark grey, completely simple and the logo is very subtle.  In many web pics the grey appears lighter than it actually is.  As was noted, very tough material.  I'll post pics shortly.

                              RIP, Geo

H, I find it very warm as well as versatile. I can wear it with just a T under it to the ball game at night to stop the wind, or layered with a hoodie and or flannel to combat the SF fog/ rain… Great Jacket IMO!
